About The Position

Avis Budget Group is immediately hiring a Rental Fleet Clerk. This role is ideal for individuals who are organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple tasks, contributing to the smooth operation of vehicle availability for customers. The position provides clerical and administrative support to rental fleet operations, involving coordination of vehicle entry and exit, supporting vehicle movement between locations, and maintaining accurate records of vehicle status and documentation. Additional duties include managing records for registrations, license plates, stickers, and keys, processing invoices, answering phones, and communicating with internal teams and external partners. The role ensures accurate fleet records and efficient vehicle tracking. Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite of applications (Excel, Word)
  • Willingness to work outdoors on occasion or near a mechanical shop with moderate noise
  • Flexibility to work all shifts
  • Must be able to continuously sit, type, talk, hear, move throughout the location, and drive a variety of vehicles as needed
  • Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
  • This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely

Nice To Haves

  • 6 months office clerical experience or familiarity with automotive parts and tools

Responsibilities

  • Provide clerical and administrative support to our rental fleet operations
  • Coordinate the entry and exit of vehicles in the fleet
  • Support the movement of vehicles between locations
  • Maintain accurate records related to vehicle status and documentation
  • Maintain records for vehicle registrations, license plates, stickers, and keys
  • Process invoices
  • Answer phones
  • Communicate with internal teams and external partners
