About The Position
Mustang Rental Services is hiring Rental Equipment Technicians/Mechanics across all skill levels for shop service and field service positions. The primary responsibility is to perform maintenance and repairs on Mustang's fleet of rental equipment. Compensation levels and rates are determined by skill set, knowledge, and experience. Technician open interviews are held every Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Northwest Houston/HWY 290 location.
Requirements
- Must own the proper tools to perform necessary repairs.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Previous mechanic work or military experience.
- Understanding of diesel, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to demonstrate technical, mechanical, and troubleshooting abilities to define and perform necessary repairs.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree or certificate from a technical school.
- Mechanic experience on heavy and light construction equipment.
- Mechanic experience on aerial and man lift equipment.
- Technical experience with hydraulic pumps, valves, and motors.
- Welding experience.
