About The Position

Mustang Rental Services is hiring Rental Equipment Technicians/Mechanics at all skill levels for shop service and field service positions. The primary responsibility is to perform maintenance and repairs on Mustang’s fleet of rental equipment. Position level and compensation rate are determined by skill set, knowledge, and experience.

Requirements

• Must own the proper tools to perform necessary repairs.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Previous mechanic work or military experience.
• Understanding of diesel, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to demonstrate technical, mechanical, and troubleshooting abilities to define and perform necessary repairs.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree or certificate from a technical school.
• Mechanic experience on heavy and light construction equipment.
• Mechanic experience on aerial and man lift equipment.
• Technical experience with hydraulic pumps, valves, and motors.
• Welding experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on Mustang’s fleet of rental equipment.
• Repair Mustang’s fleet of rental equipment.
