About The Position

The Rental Driver is responsible for safely loading, unloading, and transporting equipment from site to site. This role requires excellent communication skills, adherence to safety regulations, and accurate record-keeping. The driver will interact with customers, document equipment conditions, and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or 3 years equivalent work experience.
• Valid CDL Class A License.
• Knowledge of DOT Safety Regulations and defensive driving principles.
• Experience in Hauling equipment.
• Experience with rollback, tractor, landoll and lowboy trailers.
• Accurately complete pick up/delivery paperwork.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and flexibility to changing priorities and business needs.
• Ability to convey information clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Safely loading and unloading equipment.
• Safely transporting equipment from site to site.
• Calling customers before every pickup and delivery to communicate estimated delivery times and providing updated times if delays occur.
• Communicating issues encountered on site or company property that cause delays.
• Communicating truck-related repairs and concerns.
• Recording delivery issues via the EMR Application.
• Performing full equipment inspections via the EMR Application, including walk-around inspections to document condition, fuel, hours, point measurements, operator's manual, and safety features.
• Taking clear pictures of each side of the equipment.
• Capturing customer signatures in the EMR Application.
