About The Position
Leavitt Machinery is looking for a Rental Delivery Driver to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. As the Rental Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for completing local deliveries to Leavitt’s service, sales, and rental customers.
Requirements
- Completion of high school diploma
- Valid Class A CDL driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
- Minimum 5 years of driving experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in parallel
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Required availability: Monday through Friday day shifts
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience operating heavy machinery and/or related industry knowledge is an asset
Responsibilities
- Receive inbound requests from the Freight Coordinator
- Handle documentation relating to equipment transport
- Load and unload equipment onto transport truck and trailer and transport equipment to and from various locations
- Instruct customer equipment operators on basic operation
- Relay relevant customer feedback onto sales and operational contacts
- Complete rental check-ins and check-outs
- Fuel and park rental equipment
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and communicate with the Vehicle Fleet Coordinator regarding maintenance
- Ensure that all registrations, insurance, and CIV’s are up to date
