About The Position

BearCom is the largest distributor of wireless voice, data, and video solutions in North America, with over 40 years of industry-leading experience and partnerships with major brands. As a Rental Coordinator in Edmonton, you will be responsible for providing short-term rental services of two-way communication equipment to BearCom customers. This role involves managing all aspects of the rental service, from initial customer consultation and order taking to equipment programming, product training, customer service, and final invoicing.

Requirements

1 year in fast paced environment and/or events business preferred.
Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
Ability to Work Under Pressure.
Strong communication and ability to develop relationships with event holders.
Experience in writing and compiling reports.
Ability lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Some college preferred or experience in similar role.
Background checks are part of the hiring process, which may include a Motor Vehicle check.

Responsibilities

Consult with and take rental orders from clients.
Coordinate equipment needs and plan delivery schedules to fulfill customer's rental orders.
Responsible for rental equipment inventory control.
Work directly with the Dallas Rental Operations Center (ROC) on inventory issues.
Provide top-notch customer service to all BearCom customers, including basic equipment application troubleshooting and dealing with invoicing issues.
Keep the General Manager involved in the pursuit of attaining rental revenue goals.
Light marketing of BearCom rental services to local events and venues.
Planning and installing equipment for customer's rental needs.
Computer programming of rental equipment.
Computer entry and invoicing of rental orders.
