About The Position

Kendall Auto Group is seeking a Car Detailer to join their Anchorage Budget Rental team. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, willing to learn, and possess good time management skills. This role is crucial for managing excess demand by ensuring rental vehicles are clean, ready, and presentable in a timely manner. The position involves a variety of tasks to maintain the appearance and readiness of the rental fleet.

Requirements

• At least one year of detailing experience in a dealership setting, large shop, or detail shop
• Capacity to operate a wide variety of vehicles including cars, trucks, and vans, including hybrid models
• Good driving record
• Valid driver license

Responsibilities

• Washing and vacuuming vehicles
• Cleaning vehicle glass
• Chemically treating tires, vinyl, and other surfaces
• Driving and moving vehicles
• Fueling vehicles at an off-site location
• Inspection of vehicles to ensure they are road-ready
• Occasionally jumpstarting or charging vehicles
• Performing janitorial tasks inside and outside the detail shop
• Delivering and picking up vehicles at the Airport and Kendall locations
