About The Position

We are seeking an overnight rental agent to work our overnight shift at the International Airport. The night auditor is responsible for managing all overnight operations at our international airport location. Including processing customer transactions, opening and closing contracts as well as extending contracts, and maintaining accurate records. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent customer service skills, the ability to work independently, and proficiency in handling customer inquiries and/or grievances.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in a customer service, retail, or auditing role, ideally within the car rental or hospitality industry.
Ability to work independently during overnight shifts with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (no more than 2 incidents/accidents in last 3 years).
Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with rental return and rental processes, address inquiries, and resolve any issues that arise during the night shift.
Monitor and manage inventory of rental vehicles, including logging vehicle returns and checking for damage and cleanliness.
Enter and update customer information, rental agreements, and other relevant data into the system accurately and efficiently.
Address any issues that arise during the night shift, such as customer disputes, vehicle disputes, vehicle availability, or system malfunctions.
Ensure all operations comply with company policies and procedures, as well as local regulations.
Promote upgrades to a more premium car; advising customers on other enhancements like protection product services; selling a full tank of gas; etc.
Coordinate with day shift staff to ensure a smooth transition and effective handover of responsibilities.
