About The Position

Salemtowne is seeking an organized, personable, and detail-oriented Renovations Project Manager to coordinate the renovation and personalization of residences for individuals preparing to make Salemtowne their new home, as well as selected common-area and amenity improvement projects across the community. This is a unique project management role. You’ll oversee multiple residential renovation projects from the initial selection process through completion and move-in, working closely with future residents, contractors, vendors, maintenance team members, and other departments throughout the process. For the right person, this role offers a rewarding combination of project management, construction coordination, relationship building, and customer service.

  • Comfort working both in an office environment and visiting active renovation sites.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.

Nice To Haves

  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Previous experience in project coordination, renovations, construction management, interior design, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Guide future residents through the renovation and personalization selection process.
  • Help residents select finishes, upgrades, and other personalization options and translate those decisions into clear project requirements.
  • Coordinate contractors and vendors to keep renovation projects moving on schedule.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and completion of work.
  • Hold contractors accountable to schedules, project requirements, and Salemtowne construction standards.
  • Identify potential delays or problems and work proactively to resolve them.
  • Coordinate final preparation of residences, including inspections, maintenance needs, and cleaning before move-in.
  • Follow up with residents after move-in to ensure renovation work has been completed to their satisfaction.
  • Coordinate vendor documentation, invoices, approvals, and other project-related administrative requirements.
  • Maintain renovation standards and personalization selections and help ensure outside vendors understand and follow Salemtowne expectations.
