About The Position
Lewis Group of Companies is seeking a Renovation Technician to work on small to large-scale renovations of apartment communities and their surrounding amenities. The company is a privately held real estate development firm with over 70 years of experience, committed to creating thriving communities and valuing honesty, long-term relationships, and high-quality standards.
Requirements
- Solid skills in rough carpentry, including framing, siding, and decking.
- Experience with construction work for exterior renovations.
- Experience with water damage repair.
- Basic electrical, welding, and plumbing experience.
- Good transportation.
- Valid driver's license.
- Previous experience with basic tools.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to exchange information and communicate with Company employees and the general public by speaking/reading/writing English.
Responsibilities
- Work on small to large-scale renovations of apartment communities and their surrounding amenities.
- Perform rough carpentry, including framing, siding, and decking.
- Conduct construction work for exterior renovations.
- Repair water damage.
- Perform basic electrical, welding, and plumbing tasks.
- Move and transport heavy objects as needed.
- Repeatedly bend, stoop, and walk throughout the community.
- Ascend and descend stairs and ladders as required.
- Exchange information and communicate with Company employees and the general public by speaking, reading, and writing English.
