About The Position

We are currently seeking a Renovation Specialist to join our Capital Improvements team. In this role, you will support unit turnovers and various capital improvement projects across our portfolio of multi-unit residential communities. The successful candidate will be hands-on in completing renovation activities while also collaborating with third-party contractors to coordinate work, identify deficiencies, and ensure units are prepared for new residents.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in residential renovations.
Demonstrated ability to complete ceramic tile installations independently and to a high standard.
Hands-on experience with finish work, including installation of baseboards, casings, doors, and hardware.
Comfortable working both independently and part of a team.
Must own basic hand tools required for day-to-day tasks; specialized tools and equipment will be provided by the employer.
Physically capable of performing routine manual tasks, including bending, kneeling, lifting, and extended periods of walking.
Functional English verbal communication skills.

Driver’s license and access to a vehicle is preferred.

Responsibilities

Install floor & wall ceramic tiles, including proper surface preparation.
Install baseboards, quarter round moulding, and door casings.
Perform minor drywall repairs and patching as required.
Hang interior doors and install door hardware.
Inspect newly finished walls for cleanliness, including removal of grime and residue.
Assess and document deficiencies for reporting to contractors.
Prepare renovated units for occupancy by completing final cleaning tasks.
