About The Position

CLV Group is a leading Canadian real estate firm specializing in the acquisition, development, and management of high-quality multi-family rental communities. We are currently seeking a Renovation Specialist to join our Capital Improvements team. In this role, you will support unit turnovers and various capital improvement projects across our portfolio of multi-unit residential communities. The successful candidate will be hands-on in completing renovation activities while also collaborating with third-party contractors to coordinate work, identify deficiencies, and ensure units are prepared for new residents.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in residential renovations.
  • Demonstrated ability to complete ceramic tile installations independently and to a high standard.
  • Hands-on experience with finish work, including installation of baseboards, casings, doors, and hardware.
  • Comfortable working both independently and part of a team.
  • Must own basic hand tools required for day-to-day tasks; specialized tools and equipment will be provided by the employer.
  • Physically capable of performing routine manual tasks, including bending, kneeling, lifting, and extended periods of walking.
  • Functional English verbal communication skills.

  • Driver’s license and access to a vehicle is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Install floor & wall ceramic tiles, including proper surface preparation.
  • Install baseboards, quarter round moulding, and door casings.
  • Perform minor drywall repairs and patching as required.
  • Hang interior doors and install door hardware.
  • Inspect newly finished walls for cleanliness, including removal of grime and residue.
  • Assess and document deficiencies for reporting to contractors.
  • Prepare renovated units for occupancy by completing final cleaning tasks.
