About The Position

WorkWave is looking for a high-impact Renewal Manager to support our newly established Renewals organization. Reporting into the Customer Success organization, you will own the commercial lifecycle for our mid-market accounts in partnership with the CSM and AM team. You aren't just processing paperwork; you are an excellent negotiator and relationship builder who ensures our customers see the continuous value of their WorkWave investment, driving long-term retention and expansion.

Requirements

  • 4+ years Of experience in SaaS renewals, CS, or Account Management specifically managing high-six-figure mid-market contracts
  • Deep understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, GRR, NRR, and Chum) and how they impact company valuation.
  • A proven track record of handling tough commercial conversations with procurement and C-suite stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce is required.

Nice To Haves

  • experience with Planhat or CPQ tools is a major plus.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the transition to WorkWave's modem pricing and packaging models; Develop and execute negotiation strategies for complex, multi-year contracts justifying price increases and aligning contract value with the current ROI WorkWave solutions provide.
  • Lead the end-to-end renewal process for a portfolio Of mid-market accounts, from initial outreach (90-180 days out) to contract execution.
  • Proactively identify "at-risk" renewals and partner with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) and Sales to build and execute "save plans" and health-recovery playbooks that leverage strategic incentives or alternative pricing structures.
  • Maintain a highly accurate renewal forecast within Salesforce/Planhat, providing the Director Of Renewals with regular visibility into bookings achievement or mitigation needs for blockers.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities during the renewal cycle and seamlessly hand off leads to the Sales team or lead the expansion yourself where appropriate.
  • Actively contribute to strategic initiatives—such as -creation workstreams, or consolidator partnership projects—ensuring these projects align with the customer's long-term roadmap.
  • Partner with Product, Finance, and Marketing to provide feedback on how pricing strategies are landing in the market and recommend adjustments to drive better retention.
  • Assist the Director of Renewals in building out the Renewals templates, quotes, and negotiation worklows for the wider team.
