About The Position

To provide effective direction to the Energy Services Department with consistent and good management practices. To encourage the beneficial use of electricity in an energy efficient manner and to educate the membership on the use of electrical appliances and HVAC systems. Serves as a resource to the Cooperative and its members in the area of solar energy, whole house batteries, programable thermostats, energy use and home / commercial weatherization. Coordinates a work schedule to meet the needs of the member/consumer. Assists members who have problems with electrical usage in locating problems and recommending ways to correct them, further encouraging member understanding and support and to promote good member/Cooperative relations. Coordinates and directs reporting employees with HEMC's generator installation and maintenance program. To advise on, size, for Load Management, surge suppression equipment, home/commercial solar and whole house batteries. Providing prompt, courteous, professional assistance to members, trade allies and the general public. Becoming an effective working member of a team dedicated to bringing adequate and dependable electric service to the consumers of the Cooperative.

Requirements
