About The Position

Central Florida Kidney Centers, Inc is a not-for-profit dialysis organization that has served the dialysis community for 50 years- with seven clinics in the Central Florida area. We are committed to providing unrivaled dialysis care to improve the quality of life for those with End-Stage Renal Disease. As a Renal Registered Dietitian, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for overall management of the patient & family regarding dialysis diet and Mineral & Bone Disease interventions. Manages Mineral & Bone Disorder program for assigned facility, follows protocols, processes orders, and schedules appropriate related lab orders in EMR and with Medical Secretaries. Participates in developing interdisciplinary Long-Term and Short-Term Care Plans for each patient. Collects and documents pertinent nutrition information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System Evaluates and monitors patients for necessary supplemental nutrition and prepares necessary forms (certificate of medical necessity, prescriptions, prior authorizations)

Requirements

Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics
Current State of Florida Department of Health Registered Dietitian Licensure
Attains the required 30 hour biannual requirement for continuing education.
