About The Position

VetWise is a provider of virtual care services in the veterinary industry, offering innovative solutions to problems facing veterinary professionals. We are dedicated to collaborating with animal hospitals by enhancing their in-person services, extending care availability and easing the workload on brick-and-mortar practices. Requirements

• Successful completion of the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE)
• Unrestricted license to practice veterinary medicine in New Brunswick
• A minimum of 2 years' experience as a practicing veterinarian
• Strong client communication skills, sound clinical judgment, and critical thinking abilities

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with exotic species is considered an asset
• Preference will be given to candidates licensed in multiple provinces, including: Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, New Brunswick, Newfoundland Labrador, Prince Edward Island, Florida, New York
• A passion for improving access to veterinary care

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual consultations for pet owners in New Brunswick and additional provinces where you hold licensure in accordance with applicable telemedicine regulations
• Collaborate with hospitals to support their patient needs
• Opportunity to provide care for exotics if desired
