About The Position

Join a virtual outpatient clinical team changing mental health for older adults, the most underserved population in mental health. Sailor Health exists to fix that — with a fully remote, Medicare-covered practice that fills your caseload, handles all admin, and makes sure you're never practicing alone. Sailor Health is the first virtual behavioral health practice built exclusively for older adults. We deliver Medicare-covered therapy to seniors navigating grief, loss, isolation, and the transitions that come with aging — through a practice designed specifically around their needs and yours. Only 4% of older adults with depression ever receive therapy. Not because they don't need it, but because the system wasn't built for them. We're changing that — and we're looking for clinicians who feel the same urgency we do.

Requirements

• Active, independent clinical license: LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent
• Licensed in Connecticut
• Master's or doctoral degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or marriage and family therapy
• Comfortable with telehealth platforms and electronic health records

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with older adults or geriatric populations preferred
• Medicare billing experience a plus — we handle it either way

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychotherapy to older adults in a virtual setting
• Design personalized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
• Work independently while being part of a collaborative, supportive care team
• Manage documentation efficiently using our streamlined EMR and AI documentation tools
• Participate in regular (paid) case consultations & clinical leadership meetings
