Remote Solar Sales Professional
About The Position
Powur is seeking experienced solar sales professionals (or those with related high-ticket, commission-only sales experience) who are proficient in selling in California. This is a 100% commission, independent contractor role, meaning there is no base salary, draws, or guarantees; income is entirely performance-based. The role requires generating your own leads. In exchange for this autonomy, you will retain a significantly higher percentage of revenue compared to traditional solar companies, with no cap on earning potential. You will sell residential solar, manage your own schedule and pipeline, and utilize Powur's AI-powered platform for proposals, site surveys, permitting, and project tracking. Deals can be closed virtually or in person, making the role 100% remote-capable. Additionally, there is an opportunity to build a team and earn 6-level revenue-share overrides.
Requirements
- Direct solar sales experience is required
- Proven track record of closing solar deals in a Powur active state (hard requirement)
- Knowledge of market regulations, utility territories, and local incentives in the states where they sell
- Comfortable working as a 1099 independent contractor with no guaranteed income
- Must be a proven closer who wants to maximize take-home pay
- Must be experienced in high-ticket sales
- Must be located in California
