About The Position
Merchandising Consultants Associates (MCA) is a leading Canadian Merchandising Company providing services such as Merchandising, Sales, Price Collection, Retail Audits, and Retail Store Renovations. This part-time, casual role involves contacting pharmacies to collect pricing data for specific medications over the phone, requiring effective communication and a credible reason for not visiting in person. The wage is $19 per hour, with approximately 30 hours per week, scheduled Monday through Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills with a professional and persuasive phone manner.
- Resourceful, confident, and able to adapt quickly during phone calls.
- Ability to work independently and maintain organized records.
- Reliable access to a phone, computer, and Wi-Fi connection.
- Must reside in the specified location (Ontario, British Columbia, and Alberta).
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in auditing, mystery shopping, customer service, or data collection is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Contact designated pharmacies in Ontario, British Columbia and Alberta by phone.
- Retrieve and record pricing information for a list of medications.
- Overcome objections from pharmacy staff by thinking quickly and adapting your approach.
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail when documenting collected data.
- Ensure daily and weekly targets for calls and data collection are achieved.
