About The Position

Deliver focused, evidence-based therapy to adult patients experiencing mild to moderate mental health issues. Work closely with primary care providers as part of a team committed to holistic and timely support in a clinical setting. The position is based in California and follows a Monday-to-Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The salary range is $115,000–$120,000, depending on experience.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Social Work or Marriage & Family Therapy, or a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
Active California licensure as an LCSW or Psychologist, or registration as an ASW or AMFT; clinical supervision is provided for registered associates.
Solid understanding of psychological assessment, DSM-5, and evidence-based treatment models.
At least one year of experience delivering therapy to diverse populations, particularly BIPOC communities.
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet navigation.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver brief therapy using evidence-based approaches such as behavioral activation and problem-solving therapy.
Support primary care providers with mental health consultations and collaborate on patient care plans.
Screen adults and older adults for behavioral health needs, including substance use, trauma, and co-occurring disorders.
Provide referrals and linkages to appropriate community services when necessary.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, case reviews, and care coordination.
Facilitate therapeutic or psychoeducational groups targeting mental and chronic health conditions, such as depression and diabetes.
Ensure timely and accurate documentation in the electronic health record.
Maintain compliance with state and federal laws and ethical standards for clinical care.
