About The Position

AO is expanding its nationwide virtual team and seeking motivated, people-focused professionals to join us as Remote Insurance Growth Consultants. In this role, you'll connect virtually with individuals and families who have requested information about available benefits, learn about their needs, explain coverage options, and help them make informed decisions about protecting what matters most. This opportunity combines client service, relationship building, benefits education, consultative insurance sales, and professional development in a 100% remote environment. We provide the training, mentorship, licensing guidance, and ongoing support needed to get started. No previous insurance experience is required.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age
Be legally authorized to work in the United States
Be physically located within the United States
Have access to a computer or laptop
Maintain reliable high-speed internet
Have webcam and microphone capability
Maintain a quiet, professional workspace
Be comfortable conducting client appointments through Zoom and phone
Be comfortable working independently in a virtual environment
Be willing to complete required training
Be willing and able to obtain the appropriate state Life & Health Insurance License

Nice To Haves

Previous insurance experience is not required.
Experience in Customer Service, Sales, Client Relations, Hospitality, Retail, Healthcare, Education, Banking, Financial Services, Recruiting, Administrative Support, Call Center Operations, Account Management, Business Development, Military Service, Leadership or Management can translate especially well.

Responsibilities

Conduct scheduled consultations through Zoom and phone
Connect with individuals and families who have requested benefit information
Ask questions to understand each client's needs and financial protection priorities
Build trust through professional, personalized communication
Answer questions clearly and accurately
Maintain consistent follow-up with prospective and existing clients
Develop long-term relationships through exceptional service
Explain available life, accident, and supplemental health insurance options
Review coverage features and available benefits
Help clients evaluate options based on their individual needs
Provide needs-based recommendations
Present information in a professional and easy-to-understand manner
Guide clients through applications and enrollment
Assist with required documentation
Provide ongoing policy and client support when applicable
Maintain organized appointment schedules
Track client follow-up and service needs
Maintain accurate digital records and documentation
Utilize virtual business systems and technology
Follow applicable company procedures and state insurance requirements
Manage your time and activity independently in a remote environment
