Requirements

Bachelorâs Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
Professional Engineering License
At least 10 years of I&C engineering experience
Experience with DOE federal projects
Knowledge of digital components used in I&C systems
Experience in large scale digital control upgrades at power plants
Involvement in digital upgrade life cycle from feasibility to testing
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Ability to work independently and in a team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Must be able to access client sites as needed
Must be a U.S. Citizen

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of complex digital I&C design engineering activities
Coordinate systems design to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and client requirements
Prepare Engineering Change Packages (ECP) to upgrade obsolete systems
Conduct design studies and provide project scope estimates
Review OEMs' digital hardware and software documentation and participate in project meetings
