About The Position

This position offers real flexibility: it can be based on-site, or set up as a remote/hybrid role with periodic travel, roughly 25% of the time, to support hands-on project work and meet clients in person. You'll leverage your technical expertise to guide homeowners toward the right technology solutions during site visits and consultations. Your recommendations come from experience. The company is a premier residential integration firm specializing in custom home theaters, whole-home audio, networking, lighting control, shading systems, and smart home automation. They focus on long-term client relationships, exceptional craftsmanship, and service after the sale. This role is perfect for a high-level technician or programmer who's interested in expanding into consultative sales. You'll continue doing the technical work you enjoy while earning commission on opportunities you help develop, giving you a clear path to significantly increase your earning potential. Requirements

  • Residential AV integration experience
  • Expert-level Control4 programming
  • Strong experience with Lutron RA3 lighting and shading systems
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Experience leading installation projects
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Clean driving record

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily field activities on residential integration projects
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure installations are completed to company standards
  • Maintain exceptional workmanship and attention to detail
  • Program and commission Control4, Lutron RA3 lighting, and Lutron shading systems
  • Meet with homeowners to understand their needs
  • Recommend technology solutions that genuinely improve the client experience
  • Build long-term relationships through trust rather than aggressive selling
  • Mentor technicians on job sites
  • Communicate effectively with project management and fellow team members
  • Represent the company professionally with clients
