Lakeview Village is a continuing care retirement community that provides all levels of living -- from independent living to long-term nursing care -- for older adults. We have an opening for a Remodeler. The Remodeler provides assistance in the renovation of apartments for new residents who are moving to Lakeview Village and residents who are relocating to a different area of campus. Additional responsibilities include maintaining existing buildings at a standard our residents deserve and have come to expect.
Requirements
- GED or High School Graduation preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in this field or a similar field.
- Possesses an empathetic approach to the elderly.
- Able to work in a team setting with residents, relatives, staff, and others.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the layout and frame walls
- Assist with drywall hanging/finishing
- Assist in Electrical layout and wiring
- Assist in Plumbing layout and installation
- Assist with painting and nail hole repairs, caulking etc.
- Assist in hanging of cabinetry
- Assist in finishing of woodwork
- Assist with trim carpentry work
- Maintaining existing buildings at a standard our residents deserve and have come to expect.
