About The Position

Clean Harbors is seeking a Remediation Project Supervisor. The Remediation Supervisor is primarily responsible for leading and supervising crews in the field at customer soil remediation project sites. 95-100% travel will be required to project sites. This position requires experience with civil or remediation experience with soil/dirt projects. Estimated Total Compensation: $90,000 - $140,000 annually. Compensation Breakdown: Base Hourly Pay: $26-38/HR DOE. Overtime (Not Guaranteed): Opportunities for 10-20+ hours per week based on project needs. Per Diem: $55+/day while traveling (7 days a week). Work Schedule: The typical work schedule is 6+ weeks on the road and then 1-week home. Location: Nevada or Arizona is preferred. All other locations will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Requirements

Minimum High School education required.
Experience in Civil or Remediation dirt/soil projects required.
Knowledge of scoping and pricing Field Service work.
Knowledge of Federal, state and local environmental regulations.
Knowledge of various types of equipment.
Proficiency in Windows based applications.
Valid DL and acceptable MVR required.
Ability to travel and fly is required.
Facial hair must always comply with the company’s respiratory protection facial hair policy.
Complete an employment application and satisfy all employment requirements.
Pass a comprehensive pre-employment and annual fit for duty physical, drug screen, and background clearance.
Adhere to Clean Harbors’ policies/procedures and maintain current OSHA 40, RCRA, DOT, and other training.
Have and maintain a valid driver's license and driving record that is satisfactory to Clean Harbors and be approved to operate light duty vehicles.
Must always demonstrate a professional standard of conduct.
Clean Harbors’ employees are expected to represent the company during their entire work rotation, on or off our project sites.

Nice To Haves

BS/BA in ASC or BS/BA Preferred.
Emergency response supervisor training and Marine Spill Response training preferred.
3-5 years of experience in remediation or similar preferred.
3-5 years of experience in environmental field service operations preferred.
2-4 years supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
Meet with customers as needed to ensure customer satisfaction and to resolve any pending complaints or issues.
Join a team with a focus on safely executing large technical remediation, environmental construction, and transportation and disposal projects across the country and internationally.
Work with a customer base across several business lines, including regulatory, government, and military.
Collaborate with other industry professionals across our Sales, Landfill, Incineration, Transportation, TSDF, and local office network leveraging the company’s turn-key approach to projects and customer service;
Lead teams comprised of foreman, equipment operators, and other professionals.
Travel to new locations to meet customers and field personnel and see projects in action.
Work with the support from administrators, senior managers, and other support personnel and teams.
Additional annual reimbursement for maintaining certain licenses including a drone pilot’s license.
