Position for an Environmental Professional III - Remediation with direct experience in the following areas: Site investigations and assessment Sampling of all environmental media, including soil, sediment, surface water, and groundwater. Data quality evaluations and report development In situ and ex situ remedial knowledge and implementation experience Remediation system operation and maintenance Regulatory communications Reading and interpreting regulations Responsibilities would include, but are not limited to: Ensure contaminated project sites are investigated and remediated in accordance with federal, state and local government regulations. Manage all aspects of long-term remediation projects, including schedule, budget, remediation system design, operation and compliance, regulatory agency coordination and consultation, and environmental consultant contracting and performance. Collaboration with consultants, regulators and internal stakeholders to identify the optimum remedy and to accomplish project objectives. Soliciting proposals, review and present technical approach and costs to internal customers for financial approval, executing the project with the selected consultant/contractor, managing the overall progress of the project, and tracking and reporting on the cost and status. Supporting other departments within ONEOK, included but not limited to Environmental Compliance, Legal, Insurance and Commercial, for spills/releases, laboratory selection, document review, legal actions, insurance claims, and due diligence. Supporting ongoing development of the remediation program by participating in the development of guidance documents, templates, and financial and project management tools. Travel would be expected to help oversee work in the field.
