About The Position

The Remanufacturing Technician is responsible for the teardown, cleaning, inspection, testing, repair, refurbishment, assembly, packaging, and shipment preparation of parts and components in accordance with engineering specifications and quality standards. This position plays a key role in ensuring product quality, identifying nonconforming material, and supporting continuous improvement efforts to help deliver reliable products and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing

Responsibilities

  • Perform disassembly and teardown of small and large components using hand tools, pneumatic/electric tools, and material-handling equipment to recover parts for remanufacturing.
  • Clean and prepare components by loading parts into baskets, racks, and cleaning equipment, ensuring parts are processed correctly for the next operation.
  • Test components during teardown by loading and operating test equipment to verify performance and identify parts that meet or fail specifications.
  • Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished parts using precision measuring tools and engineering standards, document results, and isolate nonconforming material to protect quality.
  • Assemble, package, and stage parts for shipment by operating presses, tools, and lifting equipment to complete products accurately and deliver them ready for customer and production needs.
