About The Position

This role leads a certified, operating remanufacturing facility and charts a growth agenda for AISIN. The facility currently remanufactures FWD, RWD, CVT, hybrid, and heavy-duty automatic transmissions, covering over 60 models for multiple global OE brands. The future focus includes hybrid transmission systems, CVT remanufacturing, and new branded remanufacturing programs under the AISIN name. The operation adheres to IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 certifications, with capabilities in engineering, quality investigation, and OE technical support. The position offers the ownership of a general manager, the platform of a global Tier 1 supplier, and the opportunity to be part of a company in an aggressive growth phase.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive leadership in automotive manufacturing, remanufacturing, or powertrain operations
• Experience running a large site with full ownership of results
• Deep working knowledge of lean manufacturing, problem-solving rigor, and quality systems (IATF 16949 or equivalent)
• Comfort with complex electromechanical products
• Financial acumen to defend a budget, justify capital, and drive cost reduction
• Executive presence
• Builder's instinct: integration, transformation, or launch experience

Nice To Haves

• Transmission experience is a strong plus
• Drivetrain/CVT/hybrid exposure is a plus

Responsibilities

• Full P&L and site performance: safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory, and people
• Lead a cross-functional organization spanning operations, quality, engineering, materials, maintenance, and EHS
• Develop the growth roadmap for the remanufactured product portfolio, including new launches, capacity, and capital planning
• Foster a continuous-improvement culture aligned with IATF 16949 and lean discipline
• Build partnerships with commercial, technical, and supply-chain teams across the Americas to optimize factory throughput
• Develop a leadership bench through hiring, developing, and retaining key personnel
