Reman Driver
About The Position
To manage a route following completion of required training. This role involves picking up and delivering customer wheels, requiring the ability to jack up cars to remove and reinstall wheels. The driver will provide outstanding customer service, ensure company growth through new customer acquisition, and safely operate a company vehicle, delivering an average of 30+ wheels with tires per day. Each tire and wheel weighs approximately 50 pounds. Responsibilities include resolving customer problems or complaints, responding to customer calls in a safe and timely manner, using the company process/system to manage customers, keying transactions and payments, balancing all route activities, following daily and am/pm procedures, and maintaining customer data. The role also requires protecting company assets, including equipment collection and payments, and diligently performing all duties in a safe manner. The company conducts a full license check, and the driver's license must be clear of any infractions.
Requirements
- Ability to jack up cars to remove wheels and properly reinstall.
- Basic computer and data entry skills and math abilities.
- Demonstrated proficiency in route operations.
- Ability to communicate with and influence people in order to sell products and services to existing customers.
- Ability to meet Company Driver Qualification Policy.
- Ability to pass a background test.
- A clear driver's license with no infractions.
