Relief Valve Assembly and Service Technician

CaltrolBenicia, CA
Onsite

About The Position

A day in this role You start your morning in our Benicia shop reviewing work orders for pressure protection equipment. On your bench: a relief valve ready for teardown. You’ll document the incoming condition in our software, strip it down, clean components with solvents or a sandblaster, and lap, tag, and seal per procedure. After reassembly, you’ll test the unit against ASME and National Board requirements and verify it meets the customer’s specs. Midday, you may hop in a company vehicle to pick up valves from a nearby site, return to decontaminate and assemble, and then use overhead cranes, forklifts, and testing rigs to complete the job. You’ll wrap with accurate paperwork and a quick round of shop equipment maintenance—ready for tomorrow’s builds.
