About The Position

The Relief Sales Representative is responsible for servicing and selling products into assigned accounts when the Primary Account Sales Representative is off or on vacation. Utilizing the Markstein Sales Processes and delivering great customer service to deliver Volume & Revenue targets is the essential function of the role. This position is used as the primary pool for Sales Route Ownership. Markstein is looking for a qualified Candidate to work in the Clayton, Pleasant Hill, Walnut Creek Area.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must possess a valid California Class C Driver’s license.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word).
Must know how to use Apple products such I-phones, and I-pads.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision, ability to set priorities, coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously and be attentive to details.
Highly self-motivated and able to work hours as required.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
1-3 years of beverage or consumer product sales experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Service and sell a set of assigned accounts in a specific geographic area utilizing the Markstein Sales Process.
Take proper inventory to write the correct order.
Introduce new items into distribution.
Sell in displays.
Rotate, Stock, and ensuring quality control of all Markstein products are met.
Travel within Alameda and Contra Costa County to perform job duties.
