About The Position

The Relief Operator is responsible for providing breaks to all personnel within the Dyeing department as needed. This role involves learning and performing various job tasks, adhering to standard operating procedures, and contributing to general housekeeping duties. The position requires flexibility to cover different roles and tasks as assigned by supervision.

Requirements

• High School education or GED preferred
• Previous Dyeing Experience preferred
• Work experience, or equivalent training and experience that provides the incumbent with the knowledge of basic or commonly used rules, procedures or operations, or basic skills to use office equipment.
• Routine and repetitive work emphasizes comparing, providing, recording and preparing information as needed.
• Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions and interpret department operating standards
• Ability to form basic mathematics and weight measures
• Basic computer skills
• Lift truck certification
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to continuously lift to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to walk long distances, climb on ladders, and stand for long periods of time.
• Bending, crouching, reaching, kneeling and stooping may be required.
• Must also be able to work in non-climate-controlled facilities.
• Close vision depth perception and color perceptions are required to perform this job.

Responsibilities

• Fill in for and give breaks to operators as needed
• Learn the correct procedures for all job tasks
• Perform other tasks as needed by the supervisor
• Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision
• Follow all established standard operating procedures
• Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary
• Perform other tasks assigned by management
