About The Position

The relief mechanic is part of the process maintenance department. He/she is responsible for performing periodic maintenance on fixed equipment and also provides support to the mechanical foreperson.

Requirements

• College or vocational diploma in fixed mechanics
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work in a multicultural team environment
• Strong adaptability
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Support the mechanical foreman in daily tasks
• Be a role model for other mechanics
• Replace the mechanical foreman during absences
• Ensure health and safety procedures are applied and followed
• Develop and implement work procedures
• Lead daily startup meetings focused on safety and objectives
• Ensure the work schedule is executed according to the established plan
• Maintain fixed equipment to optimize availability and reliability for operations
• Perform any other related duties as required
