Relief Grocery Program Worker

About The Position
This is a relief position with no guaranteed hours. The relief worker is required to provide monthly availability based on our Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm schedule and the willingness to be on call when available. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are necessary for this position.
Requirements
- Experience in Customer Service and/or Social Service/Charitable industry is required.
- Using best practice in the safe handling, stocking, and movement of packaged grocery products is required.
- Ability to safely work a manual and electric pump cart is required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the retail grocery/warehouse industry would be an asset.
- Awareness of Occupational Health and Safety and food safety or willingness to learn would be an asset.
- Licensed use of a forklift or willingness to be licensed would be an asset.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring that the Marketplace pantry, fridges, and freezers are fully stocked.
- Using best practice in the safe handling, stocking, and movement of packaged grocery products.
- Safely work a manual and electric pump cart.
