About The Position

West Fraser's Opelika Sawmill is hiring for a Reliability Technician role. This position involves adhering to all mill safety and operating guidelines, collecting equipment condition data to prevent unplanned failures, conducting routine preventive maintenance (PM's) such as maintaining equipment fluid levels, ensuring proper lubrication, and monitoring equipment health. The role also utilizes predictive technologies including but not limited to vibration, thermal imaging (IR), and ultrasonic emission (UE). Requirements

Must have demonstrated good attendance, safety, and work record
Experience in industrial applications
Pass our Mechanical Reasoning Assessment with a minimum score

Nice To Haves

2-year technical degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
Training and/or expertise in condition monitoring and sensors
Training and/or experience in Predictive Maintenance Technologies
MLT certification
