About The Position

The reliability manager is responsible for the strategic development and implementation of maintenance strategies, standards, and processes to continuously improve equipment reliability. They are responsible for minimizing equipment downtime, optimizing maintenance costs and maximize lifespan.

Requirements

  • 10 years + in a manufacturing maintenance organization OR a Bachelors Degree or related Engineering discipline AND 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment

  • 10+ years of reliability, engineering or maintenance experience in a Food manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Organize and lead predictive maintenance programs such as: Vibration analysis, Oil analysis, Thermography, Acoustical analysis, Life cycle analysis, Data Collection (mean time between failure)
  • Data analytics including: Equipment baseline assessment, Rebuild frequency and forecasting, Guide the development of asset care strategy (Die/pan care programs)
  • Documentation (manuals, BOM's, drawings, training)
  • Process improvement through: Root cause problem solving, FMEA's, Criticality assessments, Targeted fixes (Adjusting PM's, Training, upgrading equipment)
  • Collaborate with cross function teams including R&D, engineering, maintenance, operations and quality
  • Manage the Planners and PIIT crew
