Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in reliability and maintenance engineering for facilities, conveyor systems, automated material handling, or sortation equipment.
  • Prioritize safety by applying thorough knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions in every decision and recommendation.
  • Bring a strong understanding of maintenance and reliability principles and apply them to reduce downtime and improve asset health.
  • Analyze large sets of maintenance and equipment data to drive clear, defensible decisions and actions.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing effectively while maintaining accuracy across multiple requests and shifting priorities.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally, translating analysis results into actionable plans, deliverables, and stakeholder updates.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the methods and metrics used for reliability analysis based on product specifications, tolerances, and operating standards.
  • Apply FMEA, fault tree analysis, and root cause analysis to identify problems, quantify risk, and determine corrective actions.
  • Drive PM/PdM improvements for conveyors, sortation systems, facility equipment, and supporting infrastructure to reduce downtime and improve uptime.
  • Develop failure mitigation strategies grounded in risk and asset criticality to prevent repeat issues and strengthen long-term reliability.
  • Propose new or revised designs, manufacturing processes, and testing specifications that apply best practices and increase reliability.
  • Develop, track, and report KPIs including downtime, PM completion, schedule compliance, asset performance, and maintenance backlog.
