Reliability Lab Technician, Cooper Lighting Solutions
About The Position
This is an exciting job opportunity for you as a Reliability Lab Technician in Peachtree City, GA, with Cooper Lighting Solutions, a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting. Perform laboratory testing (electrical, mechanical, thermal, etc.) and issue test reports in a timely manner to support product development. Maintain a Laboratory Testing Schedule and estimate completion dates. Identify and implement new testing capabilities, including documenting standard procedures. Identify, perform, and document improvement activities to increase lab efficiencies. Help maintain the documentation needed to meet laboratory requirements for external certification of governing bodies (UL, NVLAP, ETL, etc.).
Requirements
- Technical or High School Diploma, associate degree preferred
- Exceptional electrical and mechanical knowledge; ability to do minor software programming a plus
- Can read, interpret, and implement standard test requirements, reliability lab experience preferred
- Capable of technical reporting
- Excellent analytical thinking and time management skills with great attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs.
