Reliability Engineering Intern Job Description: Candidate will support the performance of product qualification tests and process reliability experiments on semiconductor circuits and test structures. Candidate will report to our DFT. This position offers interns a great opportunity to gain exposure to real world industrial products and practice.

Requirements

• Completion of at least two years of a traditional four-year degree program, majoring in EE, Physics, Materials Science, or other technical discipline
• Basic understanding of electrical measurements
• Basic understanding of electronic principals, including understanding of semiconductor devices
• Basic computer programming skills
• Ability to work with minimal direct supervision

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with data analysis software tools, such as Excel, MathCad, Minitab, or JMP

Responsibilities

• Identify and prepare samples for reliability tests
• Develop test fixtures and/or circuit boards for environmental tests as required; may include mechanical assembly and soldering
• Make DC and RF electrical measurements
• Execute qualification and/or reliability tests
• Perform statistical analysis of measurement results
• Support failure analysis as required
• Report results, including recommendations for reliability improvement
