About The Position

Chemours is seeking a RELIABILITY INSPECTION PROGRAMS SPECIALIST to join our growing TITANIUM TECHNOLOGIES team. This position will be available at the DELISLE SITE in PASS CHRISTIAN, MS and report directly to the RELIABILITY FIRST LINE SUPERVISOR. This position is responsible for managing the various Reliability Inspection Programs and data and assisting the Reliability Inspectors and Technicians with changes and updates to these programs and data by working with the project team on new equipment or changes to existing. These programs include but are not limited to; PCMS, AutoCAD, Autodesk, MicroStation, M&E Index, SAP.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalency is required
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of industrial inspection experience
  • API 510 or 570 Certification

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
  • 15+ years of experience as API inspector
  • Hold an API certification for at least 6 continuous years
  • Familiarity with non-destructive testing methods—such as ultrasonic thickness testing, radiography, or magnetic particle inspection

Responsibilities

  • Manage site PCMS data to maintain compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Maintain API-510 or API-570 to understand compliance with these standards in conjunction with the programs.
  • Develop SAP equipment list and EIC for new equipment PMs.
  • Create new inspection plans, drawings, UT routes for new equipment.
  • Ensure all piping and equipment materials meet design specifications and standards.
  • Provide As-built mark ups of piping and equipment to Engineering for accurate documentation records.
  • Revise inspection plans, drawings, UT routes for change to existing equipment.
  • Assist Reliability team with software program updates and implementation.
  • Assist Reliability Inspectors with pre inspection planning by reviewing current inspection plan and inspection data for accuracy and providing examiners with inspection packages.
  • Assist Reliability Inspectors with any post inspection documentation changes necessary for ensuring compliance or for PM optimization.
  • Read, revise, update, develop and interpret drawings (P&I, Iso’s, etc.) sketches, graphs, charts, vendor specifications and instructional material to ensure adequate inspection routes and frequency.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all Reliability Inspections, utilizing PCMS, SAP, Excel, Word etc.
