About The Position

The Reliability Engineering Technician provides hands-on technical support for manufacturing operations, helping ensure production equipment, systems, and job configurations operate reliably and efficiently. This role works closely with Engineering, Maintenance, IT, and Production to troubleshoot hardware, software, image, and machine setup issues; create and maintain equipment job configurations; and support testing activities associated with customer onboarding and production changes. The technician will also maintain and validate vision systems, support graphic image modifications, complete technical support requests within established service levels, and contribute to engineering testing and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Typically requires 0–2 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
  • Understanding of graphic image formats and editing tools such as Photoshop, Paint, Illustrator or GIMP.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to learn new technologies used in a Service Center.

Responsibilities

  • Provides technical support and Troubleshoots Production issues related to setups, images, software and hardware by working closely with Maintenance, IT and Production
  • Creates, manages and maintains machine job setups (MX, Xerox/Canon, C8000 and more to come)
  • Loads, maintains and validates vision tables
  • Completes test requests for customer onboarding and internal/customer changes, including SIT, UAT and go live activities on all equipments
  • Creates or modifies graphic images as per customer request
  • Completes UG tickets within defined SLA
  • Supports engineering testing and process improvements
