About The Position

As an Engineering Tech 3 at MKS Inc., you will be a member of Reliability Engineering to develop, support, and execute tests in a lab environment. In this role, you will report to the manager in charge of Reliability Engineering. You Will Make an Impact By: Responsible for test lab equipment calibration and maintenance. Perform product reliability testing as directed by engineers. Monitor and update product life testing data. Travel Requirements: Up to 5% of Travel is required.

Requirements

• Ability to use electronics lab equipment and perform lab testing of electronics.
• Years of job-related work experience - 2+ years
• Ability to understand and use lab environmental chambers.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve lab equipment issues and secure resources for repair.
• Proficient with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, multimeters
• Ability to write reports.

Nice To Haves

• Proficient with Microsoft Windows software, i.e. Word, Excel, etc.
• Able to work independently while reporting to Manager.
• Programming skills like LabVIEW and Python

Responsibilities
