About The Position

We are hiring a Reliability Engineer to provide technical support to a DoD Project Office. This position will be onsite in Huntsville, AL. The role involves producing enhanced production, quality, and reliability plans, assessing system design including maintenance practices, repair processes, engineering changes, quality of design, operational capability, thermal coefficient of expansion, modal analysis, and logistical issues. The engineer will apply U.S. industrial base best practices and standards in reliability planning and readiness, assist in the transition of systems from development to fielding, and improve reliability post-fielding. Support will be provided in preparing test deliverables, developing reliability growth curves using AMSAA’s Projection Methodology – Discrete (PM2) model, and using a Fix Effectiveness Factor (FEF) system to track corrective actions. The position requires monitoring and participating in test activities, performing reliability analyses such as allocations, predictions, derating, FMECA, and FRACAS, and developing recommendations for a Test Analyze and Fix (TAAF) program. Technical reliability input will be provided as requested, and support will be given in drafting briefings and presentations to senior officials.
