About The Position

This role is accountable for equipment reliability for the site, serving as the BDA (Breakdown Analysis) work process owner and strategy lead for breakdowns. The position focuses on Time-Based Maintenance (TBM) and Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM), driving continuous improvement in maintenance tasks. Responsibilities include reviewing and updating preventative maintenance standards, managing TBM and CBM KPIs and Key Application Indicators (KAIs), and analyzing maintenance and DMS data. The role involves coordination with maintenance and operations teams for scheduling, ensuring necessary resources (schedules, tools, parts, instructions) are available for effective execution (SIMPTWW). A key aspect is the detailed execution knowledge of PM steps, particularly PM Step 2/3/4, and reviewing executed work orders for improvement opportunities. The role also encompasses master data management, PM Pillar support and compliance, acting as a technical master for assigned areas, developing technical skills of resources, creating work standards, executing maintenance improvement projects, and overall planning based on budget. The Reliability Engineer will own the BDA work process and related KAIs and KPIs, and manage administrative tasks for direct reports such as vacation, absences, call-ins, and discipline.

Requirements

  • Strong operational & manufacturing leadership experience in CPG industry with experience in TPM-Total productive maintenance, 5s, LEAN, 6 sigma tools and concepts.
  • Excellent communication (verbal & written), coaching, and leadership skills in a team-based environment.
  • Demonstrated abilities in Analytics, problem solving and team building.
  • An Engineer with a strong financial & business acumen, project management skills and Knowledge of industrial maintenance and manufacturing equipment.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands on experience in maintenance.
  • Engineering Degree or equivalent.

  • Support all Manufacturing standards, Governance, Compliance requirements (e.g. Corporate Quality, Food safety & GMP, Health, Safety, Security, Environment, Sustainability, Code of conduct, Policies & principles, Operational standards, Local legal requirements, Internal Audit norms, & other procedures updated from time to time) are in place, understood by all, and is regularly reviewed and monitored for effective implementation.
  • Lead and be Accountable for Talent, Capabilities & Engagement for the Manufacturing team - identify and implement critical levers to attract, retain & develop critical talent and builds capability at all levels, technical and behavioral, to build a sustainable workforce profile for the future.
  • Partner effectively with all multi-functional peers internally & externally (outside the plant) to achieve objectives, goals and KPI’s.
