About The Position

The Reliability Engineer for the Reliability & Test Engineering Team in Grand Prairie, TX. This role safeguards product performance by developing, coordinating, and executing technical reliability analyses that ensure hardware meets rigorous design and contract requirements. The engineer will be responsible for driving reliability growth across production hardware, working with design, test, and manufacturing engineers, performing root cause studies, supporting reviews, and delivering data-driven recommendations.

Requirements

Must have or be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
Experience with performing reliability predictions and analyses.
Experience with reliability FRACAS and statistical data mining.
Experience with the FMECA process.
Ability to manage subcontractors in the Reliability field of expertise.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working relationships.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, technical writing experience, and an ability to perform oral presentations in front of large groups.
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or relate field from an accredited college with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related master’s degree.

Responsibilities

Conduct Failure Mode, Effects & Criticality Analyses (FMECA) and generate reliability block diagrams.
Develop and execute reliability growth plans; analyze trends to prioritize corrective actions.
Support design reviews, test activities, and prepare for Failure Review Board (FRB) meetings.
Participate in Corrective Action Boards (CAB) and Failure Review Boards, presenting findings and recommendations.
Identify FRACAS trends, drive investigations, and implement mitigation strategies.
Review Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) and contribute to Concept Screening Board (CSB) and Configuration Control Board (CCB) decisions.
Recommend statistical process control methods and test techniques to achieve target reliability levels.
Compile, analyze, and report performance data and process control statistics.
Ensure all corrective actions satisfy established reliability standards.
Collaborate daily with cross functional engineers, produce clear technical reports, and travel occasionally for board meetings or site visits.
