About The Position

For this R&M Engineering Analyst position, you will be responsible for lifecycle reliability and maintainability (R&M) planning, influencing design for reliability and design for maintainability, modeling and predicting R&M performance, optimizing supportability resources to achieve readiness at cost targets, operational performance assessment and improvement, and facilitation of a cross functional readiness review process as a framework to achieve reliability, maintainability, and availability goals.

Requirements

  • Accredited Bachelor’s Degree in STEM discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a position requiring STEM expertise
  • Eligibility for a SECRET clearance.
  • Excellent technical writing and data presentation skills
  • Track record of complex problem-solving aptitude

Responsibilities

  • Possess a strong understanding of reliability engineering and statistical analysis, as well as a knowledge of maintenance management processes.
  • Develop and implement reliability plans that support increasing the readiness of Department of the War (DoW) sensor, electromagnetic warfare, and communications systems.
  • Design and develop methods to improve and maintain the reliability of systems and processes.
  • Provide guidance for design for reliability and design for maintainability activities with full application of reliability-centered maintenance tools.
  • Build, review, and revise supportability analysis including but not limited to reliability block diagrams, fault tree analysis, failure modes effects and criticality analysis, reliability centered maintenance, level of repair analysis, maintenance task analysis, and enterprise asset and resource optimization.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to identify potential Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability (RMA) performance issues and develop and implement effective solutions that ensure equipment reliability, maintainability, and availability.
  • Conduct risk and failure mode analysis to support project teams.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation related to system reliability.
  • Drive root cause analysis of issues identified at the system, subsystem, and component failure levels.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor key performance indicators to track performance and implement corrective action where necessary.
  • Edit and format information for consumption through various media channels to include printed materials, scripted voice content, email, websites, and other electronic access points.
  • Travel as needed to support test events. The contractor shall operate test units, monitoring devices, and associated equipment.
