About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) to lead and facilitate Agile Release Train (ART) processes, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy, and driving continuous improvement. This role requires strong leadership, facilitation, and coaching skills within a SAFe environment.
Requirements
- SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) 6.0 Certification.
- Scaled Agile Practice Consultant (SPC) 6.0 Certification.
- Agility Insights Facilitator Certification.
- Strong experience in SAFe Agile environments and ART execution.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate PI Planning
- Prepare ART for PI Planning (logistics, backlog readiness, WSJF prioritization)
- Lead and facilitate 2-day in-person PI Planning sessions.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise strategy and cascaded OKRs.
- Support PI Execution
- Track ART progress using metrics such as predictability, velocity, and cycle time.
- Facilitate ART events: Coach Sync, ART Sync, Architect Sync, PO Sync, I&A, IP Iteration, System Demo
- Support backlog refinement and planning coordination across ARTs.
- Promote DevOps practices and continuous delivery.
- Guide Business Owners in assigning business value.
- Coach the ART Coach Scrum Masters and team members using effective questioning techniques.
- Support ART roles including Product Management, System Architects, and Business Owners
- Enable teams to adopt Agile best practices.
- Optimize Flow
- Establish pull systems to improve value delivery.
- Define and track ART flow metrics.
- Facilitate value stream mapping.
- Identify and reduce cross-team dependencies.
- Drive Continuous Improvement
- Lead Inspect & Adapt (I&A) events and TeamHealth assessments.
- Develop and execute improvement roadmaps.
- Promote built-in quality practices across ART ceremonies.
- Collaborate with Lean-Agile transformation teams and Value Management Office
- Act as a Servant Leader
- Foster a collaborative and transparent team environment.
- Support teams in decision-making and problem-solving.
- Encourage professional and team development.
- Apply systems thinking beyond daily execution.
- Represent ART confidently in large forums and presentations.
