Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. This will be on the job training and the hours during training will be during normal business hours. This is high volume, customer service environment. You'll need to be efficient, productive, and thoroughly dealing with our members over the phone and in person. You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older
  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications.
  • Ability to work full time onsite at 4773 State HWY 28 Cooperstown, NY 13326
  • Ability to work from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working within the health care Industry.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook

Responsibilities

  • Work with patients and hospital staff to manage MyChart release requests and submit necessary documentation
  • Work with hospitals, clinics, facilities, and the clinical team to manage requests for services from members and/or providers
  • Provide assistance with work queues, including billing operations, MyChart-related tasks, and the maintenance of release task lists.
  • Prepare and scan incoming mail, email, and faxes into patient charts.
