About The Position

North Point Technology is looking to hire a Release Manager / Scrum Master to support a mission-critical program for an Intelligence Community customer. The qualified candidate must have an active TS/SCI security clearance and will orchestrate complex software releases across multiple Agile teams while serving as a servant leader and coach. The ideal candidate thrives on solving complex delivery challenges, enabling teams to perform at their best, and continuously improving software delivery in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment. Requirements

Release management across multiple Agile teams, including integration, testing, and deployment coordination
Serving as Scrum Master facilitating Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement
Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Lean methodologies
DevSecOps and CI/CD environments
Jira and Confluence, or similar Agile lifecycle management tools
Coordinating cross-team dependencies and supporting Program Increment (PI) Planning
Supporting DoD or Intelligence Community programs
Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance
Ability to obtain and maintain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph
US citizenship (required per contract)
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Advanced CSM (A-CSM), or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field

Responsibilities

Developing and executing integrated release plans across multiple Agile teams
Coordinating release readiness across planning, integration, testing, deployment, and production support
Managing schedules, dependencies, and risks
Facilitating release planning and Go/No-Go decision reviews
Facilitating Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement
Coaching teams on Agile principles
Removing impediments
Partnering with Product Managers to maintain healthy backlogs
Coordinating dependencies across teams and external organizations
Supporting Program Increment (PI) Planning and release forecasting
Tracking velocity and Agile metrics
Preparing executive-level status reports and dashboards
Ensuring compliance with customer governance, configuration management, cybersecurity, and change management processes
