Requirements

DEC or Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
Very good knowledge of the Salesforce platform, including metadata, APEX, standard objects, Salesforce APIs, and platform events.
Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools such as Copado, Gearset, Jenkins, or equivalents.
Good command of Git, version control, and CI/CD practices.
Understanding of multi-org Salesforce environments and governance limits (Governor Limits).
Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments.
Experience with Visual Studio Code, Salesforce CLI (sf-cli), and Git Flow principles.
Knowledge of architectural models, design patterns, and UML modeling.
Knowledge of event-driven architectures (Kafka is an asset).
Interest in Salesforce integrations, including Einstein Activity Capture, Content Server, and MuleSoft.
The use of artificial intelligence, particularly Copilot, is an asset.
Recognized for their ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and effectively manage deliveries in a complex technological environment.
Stands out for their rigor, attention to detail, and structured approach to risk and quality management.
Demonstrates a strong ability to simplify technical concepts and communicate clearly with diverse audiences.
Recognized for their collaborative spirit, initiative, and ability to proactively solve problems.
Several years of experience in release management, DevOps, or a similar role within a Salesforce environment.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and execute Salesforce production releases (major, minor, and patches) while ensuring a stable, controlled, and secure deployment process.
Manage Salesforce environments (sandboxes, integration, and production), deployments, versioning, and traceability of changes.
Collaborate closely with development teams, quality assurance, business analysts, product managers, and architects to align deliveries with business priorities.
Identify deployment-related risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure the quality and compliance of deliveries.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, release governance, and delivery processes while ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.
