Nice To Haves

• Working towards/or successful completion of the Certified Customs Specialists (CCS) designation with the Canadian Society of Customs Brokers (CSCB) or the National Customs Brokers & Forwarders Association of America (NCBFAA) is a requirement, if not already obtained.
• Successful completion of the CCS examination is a mandatory requirement for further advancement.

Responsibilities

• Support the Customs Brokerage and Customs Entry Writer team to ensure all required information is updated and available for clients shipments.
• Perform tracking functions of shipments moving throughout the global supply chain.
• Obtain arrival information from carrier’s offices or websites.
• Coordinate and prepare Customs entry summaries and update system databases.
• Communicate to customers via phone or email.
• Processing client invoices.
• Maintain effective relationship with clients, carriers, Customs etc.
• Participate and support other team members with accounts and workload on day-to-day operations including setting priorities, organizing, scheduling work and problem solving.
• Coordinate carrier release by submitting required bills of lading and freight payments.
